Bhopal Disaster – 30 Years on

Edinburgh Trade Union Council has organised a public meeting to hear the report and recommendations of a Scottish trade union delegation that visited Bhopal, India, in December 2014.

The speakers will call for support for the Bhopal Medical Appeal and will launch Trade Union Friends of Bhopal in Scotland.

Four trade union activists who were part of the delegation will be making contributions illustrated by images of the commemoration events in Bhopal.

There will be images of survivors coping with the aftermath of the disaster, including the medical conditions and disabilities caused by the disaster.

The four contributors are:
