Nae Pasaran

NAE PASARAN, a new feature documentary for cinemas, tells the stories of the UK Solidarity against Pinochet after the brutal coup d’etat of 11 September 1973.  The main storyline follows three retired Scottish trade unionists as they discover forty years later how much of an impact their own action had.  They had refused to repair and return aircraft engines belonging to the Chilean Air Force, the same aircrafts that had bombarded the Presidential Palace in Santiago on the day of the coup.

Recently, the three men, Bob Fulton, John Keenan and Robert Somerville, received the highest honour given to foreigners by the Government of Chile.  NAE PASARAN is the story of these men and all the people who stood up in their own way for their fellow workers halfway across the world.

In order to be made the documentary needs to raise funding, and we are asking trade union branches and individual trade union members to donate. The campaign for funding is being hosted by the Kickstarter site, which is a crowd funding site which finances small projects and because of this there is a deadline for donations of 11 May 2015.

You can directly contribute and ensure the film gets made by donating to the Kickstarter campaign here: .

Alternatively union branches can send donations by cheque directly to Felipe and they will be credited to the Kickstarter fund. Any donations are eligible for a series of rewards the details of which can be found on the Kickstarter page, linked above. Donations of £50 or more are eligible to receive a free copy of the film when it becomes available.

Cheques should be made out to:
