Recruitment postcards

The UCU branch at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh have used their combined talents to produce a fabulous set of recruitment postcards.  The postcards are based on photographs of UCU members and contain quotes explaining why they are members of the union.  The cards were conceived by QMU’s Eurig Scandrett, the photographs were taken by fellow member Graham Drysdale, and the cards themselves designed by another branch member, Elspeth Talbot.  The branch are planning to produce more cards showing the diversity of people who join the union and they’re being used not only to recruit new members across the campus, but also to raise awareness of UCU and the work the branch carry out across the university.  It’s a great initiative, and one which will raise the profile of UCU in QMU.
